Patrick Ohern
Born in Ticonderoga New York, Patrick’s earliest memories were his mother playing guitar and singing to him. Patrick O’ spent his youth traveling the world from Okinawa Japan to Mobile Alabama before settling in New Orleans for Twenty Years.
Patrick’s performance consists of guitar and vocal covers ranging from top 40 Rock, alternative, Pop, and Country to Irish folk, traditional, and gospel, peppered here and there with an original song or two from Patrick himself. No matter what the song however, it all gets blended with a smooth southern rock style.
He began to sing at 10 years old while living in Rural Wisconsin, winning competitions and even placing third at state with the Gospel Hymn “The Water is Wide”. He began to play guitar casually as a teenager living in Southern California, but didn’t mature as a musician until he moved to New Orleans and immersed himself in the wildly eclectic culture of that city.
While Patrick has begun preparations for a Solo Album his true love is playing and sharing music with his friends and is currently performing in the Capital Region.
