Thursday Market and Food Truck Corral – More Herbs, Less Salt Day

Thursday Market and Food Truck Corral August 29, 2024 4:30-8 pm

The Thursday Market and Food Truck Corral at The Shirt Factory is an event that promises a one-of-a-kind experience. Every Thursday night, join in the vibrant festivities featuring a diverse range of food trucks and vendors serving a delectable selection of dishes. From savory to sweet, there’s something to suit everyone’s taste buds. Come for dinner, stay for the good times and good company!

No two weeks are the same. Each week, there are multiple stages of live music, vendor changes, weekly specials, beverages from local breweries and distilleries, and non-alcoholic drinks at various booths. As you wander, browse this week’s offering of handmade items crafted by local artisans.

This family-friendly event includes free or low-cost activities, including LEGO tables, games, petting zoos, and bouncy houses.

Make sure you are on the current week’s event for the vendor list, open shops, and musicians change regularly.

It is important to note that there will be no Thursday Market on July 4, 2024, as vendors will be at traditional events this week.

Weather Warning

Additionally, a day may be canceled in the rare event of thunderstorms or high winds. Unfortunately, this decision has to be made by 6 am at the latest, even though the forecast can change drastically later in the day. This judgment call is made to avoid wasting food vendors’ time and produce. In case of a cancellation, an announcement will be made on Facebook either the evening before or the morning of the event. The goal is to make each week enjoyable for vendors and attendees. If this happens, we hope visitors will understand and join us on another Thursday night at The Shirt Factory.

The event is free to attend, the only charge is for what you choose to buy. Each booth and shop is a separate business that sets their own prices for their wares so how much you spend will vary based on who you buy from and how much you get.

Many booths and shops accept credit cards but we do recommend coming with cash. Having cash too can make your night a lot better! Whether it's someone who doesn't take cards or someone having technical difficulties that night, they'll appreciate it too!

A third party brings ATM's for use during the event. You can find them set up outside, with a large "ATM" flag next to each.

The food vendors here have a range of specialties. From handmade pasta to empanada's, there's a mix of familiar and exotic flavor here every week! Many of the food vendors are consistently here every week, while some are only here occasionally. Please make sure you check this weeks vendor list to find out exactly who will be here this week.

Inside the Shirt Factory there are several public restrooms, one on the Garden Level, and two on each of the three other floors.

Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome, although there are a couple of indoor shops you will not be able to go into unless your furry friend is trained service animal (NY does not recognize emotional support animals as service animals).

The parking lots are closed for this event, all parking is on the street.

Please do not park on our neighbors property or block access to their property, This includes the parking lots at Ascko, Mahoney, Glens Falls Produce and Grey Ghost.

Yes it is. Even though the parking lots are closed, we create some temporary handicap accessible spaces at the edge of the 73 Lawrence Street lot boarding Curran Lane.

The majority of the event is outdoors in paved lots, except for the courtyard, which is grass, with some loose gravel at the edges.

To browse the shops inside and the restrooms, please use the ramp next to the loading dock inside the 73 Lawrence Street parking lot.
